Bridging The Gap: US & Uganda Youth

We have exciting news!!! Changing Destinations' Board member Sasha E. Butler has been invited to Uganda to head up the Bridging the Gap Initiative to build cross-continental educational and cultural bridges between African and African American youth. She will also work with universities, businesses and churches on leadership training programs.

Sasha's first project is to finalize the global school partnership between Kawotto Saviours’ Primary School and Changing Destinations: Journey to Excellence, Inc. to establish a Pen Pal literacy program and to raise money to improve the quality of education at Kawotto.
 

 Student are committed to working hard in school regardless of the obstacles such as no lights in the classroom.

 These youth are confident they can achieve their dreams!

Your support for the Bridging the Gap Initiative sets a precedent and goes a long way in improving the lives of youth. We are incredibly proud of Sasha and look forward to updating you on her humanitarian efforts abroad.
