Changing Destinations: Journey to Excellence is seeking an individual with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills for a Program Assistant internship. Changing Destinations’ mission is to renew the desire for academic, social and personal success in middle and high school students. We provide quality, caring and success-oriented in-school, after school, and summer programs for Black, African American, Latino, Asian, and other middle and high school students facing barriers to success. The Program Assistant position will assist in undertaking activities to include: web site and social media platform postings and site management; editing and writing; Internet research; some desktop publishing; logistics for our annual summer program, meetings and conferences, and other administrative duties as assigned. Ideal candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail, tech savvy, with strong oral and written communication skills.
